Kia ora bloggers, this is my first draft writing on our class assembly that we had on the 17th of March 2017. Our learning intention was to use adjectives and verbs in our writing. Please read my writing and let me know how I can improve my writing. Thank you.
Last friday my class had a assembly, that was the best assembly ever, and at our assembly shreya and Ina were the host. When the classes were just starting to come in and sit on their seats, Paris was playing the piano and while she was doing that 4 people were outside greeting the classes and teachers and 4 other people including me was inside in front of the resource room door doing the same. When all the classes were sitting down and waiting for the assembly to start. When Paris stopped playing the piano and when she stopped the people in the resource slowly and quietly walked backwards into the resource room and quietly closed the door just a little bit. When Sherya and Ina were saying their parts suddenly the song ¨Celebration¨ came up and Paris and Simon got up on the stage and started dancing. Shreya and Ina was so confused, when Paris and Simon were dancing, the 4 people that were outside walked in doing the same moves like Paris and Simon, when they got up on the stage and started dancing, Mantida, Aryan, Riha and I opened the door and walked in a straight line doing the same moves as the other class mates. when the whole class joined in, we all were waiting for Sherya and Ina to joined in. When they joined in and all of us were dancing and doing the same moves it turned out and it was just like a flash mob. When the music stopped we all went to our seats and listened to what Shreya and Ina had to say. The first thing we did was to sing the national anthem in sign language. Next Aryan, Fehi, Paris, Mandita, Jamal and I reed our metherpor poems out loud to everyone. After everyone sang Aotearoa and including the other classes. The next thing was the mathletics awards, I was so nervous and excited to see who won the mathletics award, but, the class that won the mathletics award was Hansan class. Finally the end of our assembly was so fun because Pohutu class stayed and sang The world's greatest with our class. At the end of the assembly we all went up on the stage and started jumping and dancing on the stage. The end.
